Join us on Thursday 13 November for an informal exchange with out two current visiting researchers. Stay afterwards in Room 017 for the talk by Anna Holian.

 Irina Garbatzky is visiting professor at the ScienceCampus and DIMAS with Anne Brüske until the end of 2025. She is an essayist and researcher, specialized in the intersections of literary studies and cultural studies, with a particular focus on transdisciplinary perspective between archives, performance, Latin-American poetry and orality. She is an Independent Researcher of the National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET) of Argentina, and Assistant Professor for Ibero-American Literature and Professor in the Writing and Research Area, both at Rosario National University. 

 Anna Holian is a visiting fellow at the ScienceCampus from 7 November to 6 December 2025. She is Associate Professor of at the School of Historical, Philosophical and Religious Studies at Arizona State University. She is a cultural and social historian of twentieth-century Europe, specializing in Germany and the reconstruction of Europe after World War II. She received her Ph.D. in History with distinction from the University of Chicago in 2005, after earning her M.A. (1997) and B.A. with honors (1990) there as well. Her research focuses on migration, displacement, urban life, and cultural representations of postwar Europe, often with a comparative and transnational approach.
