We are pleased to welcome applications from members of UR and IOS for the ScienceCampus outgoing fellowships. Colleagues can spend between two weeks and two months at a partner institution. The next deadline is 23 October 2022.
The Leibniz ScienceCampus “Europe and America” is pleased to offer the opportunity to travel as a Visiting Fellow to partner institutions around the world. Colleagues from UR and IOS can spent between two weeks and two months at institutions in North and South America, and across Europe. For the full list of partners, please click here. The outgoing Visiting Fellowships are open to colleagues who have at least a doctoral degree, i.e. to postdoctoral researchers, colleagues with a habilitation and to professors. The scheme is not available to doctoral researchers or students.
The Leibniz ScienceCampus can fund travel and accommodation costs at a level that is reasonable for each destination. We cannot fund a daily allowance (per diem/ Tagegeld). If you are interested in travelling to one of our partner institutions in 2023-2024 of the ScienceCampus project, please complete the form on our website (it is available in English and German). The next deadline for applications is 23 October 2022.
The applications will be reviewed by the Board and Management of the ScienceCampus. There are a limited number of places available at each institution, thus alternative destinations may be suggested if certain institutions are oversubscribed.
Outgoing fellows are expected to pursue their research and publication project abroad, as well as engage in networking to develop their own international standing as well as promote the visibility of Regensburg as a location for innovative area studies scholarship. Fellowship holders are also required to submit a contribution to the ScienceCampus blog Frictions.
