We are delighted to confirm that the two-day workshop on Writing Articles for International Publication in Peer-Reviewed Journals by Josie Dixon will take place on 25-26 April 2023 (9:30-16:30 each day) at the GradSchool, room 122.
The Workshop is organized by the Graduate School and supported by the ScienceCampus, and is highly recommended to all PhD candidates, Postdoctoral researchers as well as to predocs.Read more
Research Colloquium | Zoran Milutinović (London) Area Studies in the 21st century: A Sum of Areal Knowledges, or a Field of Theoretical Innovation and Experimentation?
The speaker will argue that Area Studies should generate questions which no single discipline can ask. Their proper object will keep appearing as a result, not as a starting point. In order to do this, Area Studies should become metaphorical rather than metonymical.
