The ScienceCampus and the Graduate School for East and Southeast European Studies are delighted to invite you to the 3rd Graduate Workshop on the subject of gaming. Under the auspices of Area Studies, it seeks to investigate contemporary video games as an emergent space.

The ScienceCampus is looking for a research assistant (SHK/WHK) from 1 October – apply by 31 August.

On Weds 27 July, at 18:15 in Room 017 at Altes Finanzamt, IOS visiting fellow Joseph Kellner will give a talk on the Hare Krishna movement, which rapidly became a dynamic and ubiquitous presence in late-Soviet and post-Soviet urban life. This event is supported by the Leibniz ScienceCampus and Graduate School

The ScienceCampus is pleased to be collaborating with the new Volkswagen Foundation-sponsored project on Southeast European Studies in Regensburg as part of the SNAKLAB Lecture Series. Barbara Sonnenhauser, Professor of Slavic linguistics, (Zürich) will give a talk on Seeking and finding areas via Zoom.
